I'm running Outlook 2000 on XP Pro. I have six email accounts configured,
all pop w/smtp. Almost daily one of the six accounts will no tbe able to
connect and the error message is returned each time the send/receive mail
function runs. The only way to fix the probnlem is to delete the email
account and re-add. Mail sends and receives fine until the next day when one
of the other accounts fails. There is no one specific account that has the
problem more than another. Just seems to rotate through each. I was running
Norton 2007 and have used their removal tool to clean their software from my
system. Problem still persists.. Any suggestions?
